Special Education Teacher (SPED) Contract Job Full Time

Blazerworks, in collaboration with the local school district, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Forks, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work with students in a supportive and enriching educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes student growth and development.
• Modify and adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of educators, administrators, and related service providers to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive educational experience for students.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.

Requirements:

• Teaching Credential with Special Education or Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement.
• Experience working with students with special needs.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
