Location: Williamstown, KY
Position Type: Full-Time (2024-2025 School Year)

Blazer Jobs is excited to partner with the Williamstown School District to find a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for someone who is committed to making a positive impact on students with special needs and is ready to join a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students educational goals are met.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and needs.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
