Location: Wolcott, CT
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: June 13, 2025
Hours: 35 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM (hours may vary)
Work Type: Onsite Only
Grade Levels: Kindergarten to 3rd Grade
Caseload: Life skills classroom with 9 nonverbal students
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Connecticut Department of Education Certification
• Special Education Certification

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
• Employ specialized instructional techniques to support nonverbal students in developing life skills
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor and assess student progress
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
