Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Full-Time Position

Blazer Jobs is excited to announce a full-time opening for a Special Education Teacher in partnership with a respected school district in Coos Bay, OR. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified professional to join our team, playing a key role in supporting the diverse learning needs of students for the 2023-2024 school year.

Position Overview: As a Special Education Teacher, you will be an integral part of creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Working collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to foster a collaborative and supportive educational community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the state of Oregon.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
