Location: Springfield, TN

Dates: ASAP - May 23, 2025

Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Hourly Rate- $25-$40 - depending on experience

Position Details:

• Middle School Special Education Resource Teacher
• Onsite ONLY

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
• Provide specialized instruction and support in a resource setting.  
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure student success in inclusive settings.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Implement behavior management strategies and support students' social-emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant school meetings.
• Maintain accurate student records.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Special Education Teaching Certification is REQUIRED.
• Experience working with middle school students with disabilities.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.  
• Passion for helping students reach their full potential.
