Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Elementary Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher to join our team in St. Paul, MN. This position involves providing specialized instruction to elementary students during the summer session, helping them to maintain and enhance their academic skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to the needs of elementary students.
  • Provide individualized and group instruction to support student learning.
  • Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive student support.
  • Monitor and document student progress throughout the ESY program.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Minnesota teaching certification.
  • Experience working with elementary students preferred.
  • Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to create and implement effective lesson plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Details:

  • There is a paid planning meeting on June 27 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
  • Teachers will receive 8 hours of paid planning/prep time.
