Junior High School - Behavior Needs (7th-8th Grades)
- Caseload: 8-12 students
- Special Education Teacher for self-contained classrooms for students with behavioral needs
- Support: Instructional Assistants (IAs) available in the classroom
- Requirements: Special Education Certificate required

Elementary School - Resource (4th-6th Grades)
- Caseload: 20-26 students
- Position Type: Resource teacher working with students in inclusive settings with varying special education needs
- Requirements: Special Education Certificate required

Elementary School - Resource (K-5th Grades)
- Caseload: 20-26 students
- Position Type: Resource teacher focusing on academic support for elementary-aged students
- Requirements: Special Education Certificate required

Elementary School - Resource (6th-8th Grades)
- Caseload: 20-26 students
- Position Type: Resource teacher offering support across middle school grade levels
- Requirements: Special Education Certificate required
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s academic, behavioral, and social needs
- Provide direct instruction and academic support to students in small groups or individual settings
- Create a positive and structured learning environment to support students’ emotional and behavioral growth
- Collaborate with parents, general education teachers, and other staff to track and assess student progress
- Manage classroom behavior with appropriate strategies, using interventions and supports for students with behavioral needs
- Document and track student progress regularly, making adjustments to IEPs and goals as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Special Education Certificate (required)
- Previous experience working with students with behavioral needs is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a supportive learning environment
- Experience with IEP development and working collaboratively with parents and staff
- Passion for working with students in need of behavioral and academic support
