Special Education Teaching Contract Job Open - South Amboy, NJ

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time role within school districts in the South Amboy, NJ area. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
• Provide direct instruction to students in both individual and group settings, using strategies that promote engagement and progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications are provided.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as necessary.
• Support students with disabilities in achieving their academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any changes to the IEP.
• Participate in team meetings to review student progress and refine educational strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education services.

Special Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
• New Jersey Department of Education certification.
• New Jersey Special Education Certification.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
• Previous experience working with students who have diverse learning needs is preferred.
