Special Needs Student Aide | Urgent Needs!
We're looking for paraprofessionals who have one of the following:
High School Diploma
Associates Degree
Bachelors Degree
Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
- Must be comfortable working with a Special Needs population
- Must be open to toileting/diapering if needed
- Must have previous school experience
About the Position:
- 30+ hours a week
- 6 hours per day
- Looking for someone who can provide emotional support and/or instructional support.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, learning challenges, or English language learners.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans, instructional activities, and behavior management strategies.
- Support positive behavior and social-emotional development by implementing behavior management techniques and strategies under the guidance of teachers and behavioral specialists.
