We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing personalized learning experiences and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Caseload: Elementary (Intellectual Disability, Mild to Moderate Cognitive Disability
    2nd and 3rd Grade, 7 Students & 1 Para assisting in the classroom)
  • 3rd &4th Grade, 4-5 Students & Para in the classroom
  • Emotional Disabilities: OHI, ADHD, ODD,
  • Mild to Moderate
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • ESPED is the IEP System they use.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and behavior.

Requirements:

  • Educator credential.
  • Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
  • Training or coursework in behavioral intervention techniques.
