Job Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Location: Eucid, Ohio

Employment Type: Full Time

Start/End date: 23-24 School Year

Some Details:

Hours: 35 hours per week

Arrival 7:30am -2:35pm, exceptions of Monday at 3:40pm due to scheduled staff meetings

days: Monday - Friday

Caseload: K 3, 8 students

Job Summary:
We are seeking four dedicated and experienced Special Education Teachers (SPED) to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a SPED Teacher, you will be responsible for providing support and instruction to students with special needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, in collaboration with parents, classroom teachers, and other school staff.
  • Provide direct instruction to students with special needs in a variety of settings, including individual and small group settings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in special education or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Ohio
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a SPED Teacher, preferably in an elementary or middle school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
