SPED Teacher Full-Time Contract Position in School District

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time position with school districts in the Walterboro, SC area. We are looking for dedicated educators passionate about supporting students with special needs and fostering their academic and social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct instruction and accommodations in various subjects.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure inclusive education.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting strategies as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal special education regulations.

South Carolina State Requirements:

To apply, candidates must meet the following South Carolina requirements:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience in developing IEPs and implementing special education strategies.
• Completion of a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
