Location: Manassas, VA

  • Collaborate with a licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in designing development plans for individual students with speech and language disorders.
  • Develop an open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to facilitate communication and language development in the classroom and school environment.
  • Incorporate activities and use exercises designed to improve students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with the SLP on documenting data collected on student therapy sessions.
  • Creating and maintaining an environment that promotes student engagement and participation.


  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) from the Virginia Department of Education, or eligibility for certification.
  • Experience with working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred.
  • Ability to be a team player.
  • Ability to produce to give high-quality services to students with diverse speech needs.
