Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

• Hours: Standard School Day (M-F)
• Pay: Starting at $32.00+ per hour, based on relevant school-based experience.

General Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, following students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assist with implementing speech-language interventions, including articulation, phonology, and language development activities.
• Document student progress, prepare materials, and communicate with supervising SLP and educators.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment to support students’ communication and academic growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid state SLPA licensure/certification.
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and accommodations.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with the SLP.
• Prior experience working with children or young adults with special needs is strongly preferred.
