Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School SLPAs for a full-time role with school districts in the Lexington, NC area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about enhancing student communication and supporting educational success in a dynamic classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with communication needs by assisting a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering targeted therapy sessions.
- Assist in the execution of speech-language therapy plans and related classroom activities.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to promote effective communication skills.
- Aid in conducting screenings, evaluations, and maintaining thorough documentation of student progress.
- Collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and parents to develop tailored support strategies.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to established educational and clinical protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; candidates with SLPA certification or specialized training are preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic approach with a strong commitment to student development.
- Ability to function collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
