School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity

In partnership with a dedicated local school district, we’re excited to announce a full-time contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the Houston Heights area. This role is centered in a special education setting, providing a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact on students throughout the school year.

Position Highlights: 

• Flexible Standard School Schedule 
• Special Education Setting
• Supporting the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing speech and language services to students.

Requirements:

• Current state SLPA licensure / Completion of a recognized SLPA training program 
• Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy practices, or a willingness to learn school-based procedures
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred
