Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students.
  • Providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of student goals.
  • Staying current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Requirements: To be eligible for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

  • Master s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
