Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Monroe, MI area. This is an excellent opportunity to help students improve their communication skills and thrive academically.
Key Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop strategies to support student communication.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Conduct screenings for speech and language disorders and provide referrals when needed.
- Educate students, parents, and school staff on strategies to enhance communication skills.
Qualifications
Educational and Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Michigan State License as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Must meet all local and state requirements, including background checks and certifications.
Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for helping students succeed academically and socially.
