Speech-Language Pathologist – Full-Time – Atchison, KS

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with a school district in the Atchison, KS area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all state and local requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certification: Must hold an active Kansas Speech-Language Pathology License and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting is required
  • Must meet all Kansas state and local requirements to work in a school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support student communication needs
  • Provide direct speech therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
