Speech Language Pathologist Job in Schools - Full Time Hours

Blazer Jobs is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dedicated team in Elmhurst, IL. This role focuses on working with K-5th grade students to support their speech and language development. This role is covering a maternity leave from April 2025 to September 2025.

Job Details:

• Position: Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Location: Elmhurst, IL
• Grade Levels: Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary school students
• Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and parents
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine students’ needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance student learning

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Licensure: Active Illinois SLP license
• Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience: Minimum of one year in a school-based or pediatric setting
• Additional Requirements: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP endorsement
