Speech Language Pathologist Job in Schools
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Monroe, MI, to hire a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This position offers the opportunity to work with students in need of specialized communication support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy for K-12 students.
- Design and implement effective intervention plans.
- Work closely with educators, families, and special education teams to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- License/Certification: Active Michigan SLP license and CCC-SLP.
- Experience: Minimum one year of relevant experience in a school setting.
- Additional Requirements: Familiarity with Michigan’s special education procedures.
