Are you a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding opportunity to support elementary school students with their communication and language development? We have a full-time position in Bluffton, SC, where your expertise can positively impact the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and interventions.
- Providing direct therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents to support students' academic success.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Participating in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and providing input on student goals.
- Promoting a positive and inclusive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid South Carolina SLP licensure and ASHA certification.
- Experience working with elementary school students is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and effective therapy sessions.
- Dedication to helping students achieve their communication goals.
