Key Responsibilities:
- Administers behavioral rating scales, objective personality instruments and projected techniques for diagnosis purposes.
- Experience in conducting assessments for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, social emotional disabilities, and other related disabilities.
- Demonstrates effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving ability with program and district administration, classroom personnel and families
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive and effective learning environments.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote mental health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- CCC-SLP from ASHA.
- Valid state licensure.
- Knowledge of IDEA and special education laws.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with IEPs and evidence-based therapy.
