Speech Language Pathologist needed east of Barrington, IL | 24/25 School Year

Key Responsibilities:

• Administers behavioral rating scales, objective personality instruments and projected techniques for diagnosis purposes.
• Experience in conducting assessments for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, social emotional disabilities, and other related disabilities.
• Demonstrates effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving ability with program and district administration, classroom personnel and families
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to create supportive and effective learning environments.
• Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote mental health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA.
• Valid state licensure.
• Knowledge of IDEA and special education laws.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with IEPs and evidence-based therapy.
