Speech Language Pathologist Needed in Cambridge, MA

Job Title: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Cambridge, MA

Blazerjobs, in collaboration with the Cambridge School District, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students with speech and language difficulties
Provide direct therapy services to students with a wide range of communication disorders
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and educational success
Utilize a variety of techniques and resources, including assistive technology, to enhance students' communication skills
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
Provide training and support to teachers and staff on strategies for promoting speech and language development in the classroom
Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders
Strong knowledge of a wide range of speech and language disorders and their treatment methods
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion and dedication to supporting students' communication needs
