Speech Language Pathologist Needed in School Setting - Contract Position

Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position with school districts in the Floresville, TX area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ progress.
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for students.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred (CFs are welcome to apply).
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
