Position Overview: As a Full-Time Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting students' communication skills and academic success through virtual platforms. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the well-being of students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals and needs.
  • Provide virtual therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents/guardians, and professionals to support students' communication skills in various educational settings.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Provide virtual training and support to school staff on strategies to support students' communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Vermont.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with students with diverse communication needs in virtual or educational settings.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
