Qualifications

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:

• Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Certification: Must hold an active Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Experience: Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting preferred
• Must pass all state and district background checks

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities for this role include:

• Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Providing therapy sessions to students with speech and language challenges
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student success
• Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
