Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Lexington, SC

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the Lexington, SC area.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all state and local requirements, including:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certification: Active South Carolina SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience: Previous experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting is required
  • Must pass state and federal background checks
  • Compliance with all district and state regulations

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student goals
