Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and support students in Columbus, Georgia. This role provides a meaningful opportunity to enhance students' communication skills, empowering them to succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
- Provide training and resources to educators and parents on speech-language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a school or pediatric setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
