Blazer Jobs partners with schools in the Augusta area to provide critical special education support services. Our mission is to enhance students' communication abilities, ensuring they have the tools to succeed academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to integrate speech strategies into the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and compliance with school and state regulations.
  • Educate and train school staff and families on techniques to support communication development.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Georgia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
