We are partnering with a school in the Basehor, Kansas area to find a full-time, on-site, contracted Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full 2024-2025 school year. We are looking for a kind and caring candidate to join our Special Education team!

Requirements:

  • Master s or higher degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Must have an active SLP Kansas License
  • Must have an active SLP Teaching Certification

Position Details:

  • 08/05/2024 - 05/22/2025
  • Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week (will also consider part-time applicants!)
  • Caseload: Early Childhood and Middle School available, specific details will be provided during the interview process
  • Pay Rate: Between $30 - $55 per hour, depending on previous experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address individual student needs and align with educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings, and monitor student progress.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to integrate speech therapy with educational objectives.
