Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed Yreka, CA

We are seeking a skilled School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Yreka, CA. This full-time position involves working with a K-12 caseload, providing speech and language services to students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to determine students’ needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans and educational strategies.
• Document and maintain accurate records of student progress, treatment plans, and evaluations in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide consultation and guidance to school staff regarding speech and language development, as well as strategies for improving student communication skills.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California.
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment methods, and therapy techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
