Duration: ASAP to 6/7/2024
Grade Levels: 6th to 12th graders
Work Arrangement: Onsite only
Supervision: No CFs (Clinical Fellows) or SLPAs (Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Illinois for a contract position. This opportunity is available immediately and will continue until June 7, 2024. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as needed.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Valid SLP license in the state of Illinois.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification preferred.
- Experience working with students in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality speech and language therapy.
