Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the communication and swallowing disorders of clients.

• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings to address speech and language challenges.

• Therapy Implementation: Administer speech and language therapy, including articulation therapy, language therapy, and fluency therapy, as appropriate.

• Progress Monitoring: Continuously monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.

Requirements:

• SLP Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Virginia.

• ASHA Certification: ASHA certification is preferred but not required.

• Experience: Previous experience as an SLP is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and their families.
