Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position within school districts in the Felton, DE area. We are seeking experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting students' communication development and committed to creating a positive and inclusive educational environment.

Position Overview: 

• Location: Felton, DE
• Job Type: Full-time contract

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on each student’s needs and goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations on speech and language objectives.
• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure the successful achievement of student goals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current Delaware licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.

Requirements:

• Delaware Department of Education license as an SLP.
• Successful completion of background check and fingerprint clearance.
• Compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology.
• Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and other educational frameworks.
