Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position within school districts in the Ingleside, IL area. We are seeking experienced professionals who are passionate about enhancing students' communication skills and are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
Position Overview:
- Location: Ingleside, IL
- Job Type: Full-time contract
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs and goals of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with various speech and language impairments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations on speech and language goals.
- Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to ensure effective progress toward student goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Illinois Department of Education license as an SLP.
- Successful completion of background check and fingerprint clearance.
- Compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the practice of speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and other educational frameworks.
