Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to fill a full-time position within a school district in the Thomasville, NC area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive district and positively impact students with speech and language challenges.

Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all local and state requirements, including:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid North Carolina SLP licensure.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
• Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ability to develop and implement therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students based on assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Document student progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to address various communication needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with evidence-based practices.
