Huntington schools are looking for a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve students for the remainder of the school year. Applicants must have previous school based SLP experience and up to date credentials. Speech Language Pathologist (SLPs) are also encouraged to apply.

Job Details:

• Full Time | 37.5 hours/ week
• Start date: ASAP
• End date: End of the School Year
  • Possible extension to include summer months
• Onsite – In person
• Caseload: Pre K - 12

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• SLPA License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Active MA license
• Knowledge of a broad range of assessment strategies and analysis skills 
• Experience developing Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines 
• Experience collecting and analyze data to monitor progress 
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues
• High level organization and time management skills 
• Strategic thinking in the delivery of services to students
