Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
• Implement individualized therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in both group and individual settings.
• Document and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in the state of Virginia.
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping students achieve their communication goals.
