Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time role. We are actively interviewing candidates who meet the qualifications listed below and are committed to supporting students' communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and implementing therapy plans.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP.
• Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ speech and language goals.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with screening and identifying students with speech and language difficulties.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
• State Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
