Blazer Jobs is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time role. We are actively interviewing candidates who meet the qualifications listed below and are committed to supporting students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and implementing therapy plans.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of an SLP.
- Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ speech and language goals.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with screening and identifying students with speech and language difficulties.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or a related field.
- State Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
