Position Overview: As a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and help students overcome speech and language challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
- Provide therapy and interventions to improve students' speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' academic success.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute expertise to ensure students' needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Ohio state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
