Speech Pathologist (SLP) PreK-5th Grade – Intensive Classroom – Middletown, CT

Speech-Language Pathologists in Connecticut must have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a Connecticut SLP license, and certification from ASHA. A valid CT Department of Education certification is also required.

Job Overview:

We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with PreK-5th grade students in an intensive classroom setting in Middletown, CT. This position is ideal for an SLP experienced in supporting students with more complex communication needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in a specialized classroom environment.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Utilize AAC devices and other assistive technology when needed.
  • Track student progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.

  • PreK-5th grade caseload in an intensive classroom setting, full-time.
