Support Student Success as a School-Based Social Worker - Full Time Contract

Blazer Jobs is seeking an experienced School Social Worker to join a dedicated team in the Mt. Clemens, MI area. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students, supporting their social, emotional, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and social-emotional support to students individually and in groups.
• Develop and implement interventions to address student challenges and promote well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive educational environments.
• Conduct assessments to identify and address students’ social and emotional needs.
• Serve as a resource for crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
• Assist families in accessing community resources and services.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and district policies.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a School Social Worker in Michigan.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development.
