Teacher Assistant (TA) / Paraprofessional (PARA) Needed In Peculiar, MO - Weekly Pay! Benefits!

We are partnering with a school in the Peculiar, Missouri area to find a Paraprofessional (PARA) or Teacher Assistant (TA) for the full school year. As a paraprofessional, you support the diverse needs of our students in a rewarding and meaningful career!

Requirements:

• Must have an active or pending Missouri Paraprofessional Certificate or Substitute Certificate
• Previous experience with schools preferred, but not required 
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a background check and complete credentialing items (fingerprints, etc.)

Position Details:

• Current School Year
• Full-Time, up to 40 hours per week
• Caseload: details will be provided during the interview process
• Pay Range: Between $20 - $25 an hour, depending on previous experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, including those with disabilities, learning differences, or English language learners.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior reinforcement strategies.
