Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments.
• Conduct assessments to determine students' educational needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Adapt materials and teaching strategies to accommodate visual impairments.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education with a focus on Visual Impairments.
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Visual Impairment or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with students with visual impairments is preferred.
