Teachers Assistant - Paraeducator

BlazerJobs is seeking two dedicated Teacher Assistants for a preschool and kindergarten setting in Reno, NV. Job Description:

Early Childhood Education Teacher Assistants work under the direction of the lead teacher, providing classroom support to ensure the success of preschool and kindergarten students. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the teacher with classroom management and lesson delivery
• Supporting students in daily activities and educational tasks
• Supervising children during classroom activities, playtime, and transitions
• Helping with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) when needed
• Creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for students
• Communicating with teachers, parents, and staff to support student development
• Assisting with assessments, record-keeping, and documentation as required
• Providing support to children in developing social, emotional, and academic skills

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of a High School Diploma required
• Must meet certification requirements as a highly qualified early childhood education teacher assistant in preschool and kindergarten
• Experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred but not required
• Must be flexible with hours and duties
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
