Blazer Jobs is currently seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position in Revere, MA. We are looking for a dedicated educator who is passionate about supporting students with special needs and ensuring they have access to an inclusive education environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Modify and adapt the general education curriculum to provide appropriate instruction for students with disabilities.
• Deliver direct instruction in individual, small group, or classroom settings, ensuring student progress.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Continuously assess student performance and adjust IEPs as needed to meet educational goals.
• Provide ongoing communication with families, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and engaging them in the educational process.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Must hold valid state certification to teach Special Education in Massachusetts.
• Strong preference for candidates with prior experience working with special education students and families.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all learners.
