Responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom, including co-teaching lessons, leading discussions, and reviewing classwork 
• Helping students with their physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs, including language translation, hygiene, and healthcare procedures
• Document progress and collaborate with staff and parents

Qualifications:

• At least two years of college credits (usually 60 credits if earned in Minnesota) through an accredited institution of higher education; or
• An associate’s degree or higher; or
• A passing score on an approved, formal assessment (see below) demonstrating the knowledge and ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics or readiness for each.
• 2-3 reference checks prior to interview

Schedule:

• Start/End Dates: ASAP - April 9, 2025
• Hours: Full Time; 37.5 hours/week, Monday - Friday
• Caseload Details: High School self-contained DCD room caseload
  • Medical and/or Patient-Controlled Analgesia (PCA) experience preferred
    • More details shared during interview
