Are you a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) seeking a fulfilling opportunity? We are looking for a skilled TVI to join our team in Annapolis, MD.

Position: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Location: Annapolis, MD
Hours: Full-Time
Caseload: 8-10 direct service and 15-23 indirect/consult service
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and assessments.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance students' learning experiences.
• Utilize adaptive technologies and materials to support student success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education for the Visually Impaired or related field.
• Valid TVI certification or credential.
• Proven experience working with students who have visual impairments.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
