URGENT HIRE | Part Time Licensed School Social Worker (LCSW) | Opelousas, LA

We are actively seeking a Licensed School Social Worker (LCSW) to join the team with a school district in Opelousas, LA. As a School Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct counseling services to students, as well as collaborating with school staff and community partners to support students' social-emotional and mental health needs.

Dates:
9.25.2023 - 5.24.2024

Hours:
3-4 days - 7 hrs/day

Responsibilities:

• Middle to High School ages 11-22 year old.
• Traveling between 2-3 sites
• Initial Evaluations, Re-evaluations, MDR s
• Conduct social-emotional assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with school staff to support students' academic success and well-being
• Consult with families and community partners to coordinate services for students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work or related field
• LCSW State licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and community partners
• Knowledge of evidence-based counseling practices and interventions
• Familiar with 1508 in LA.
